Single Fin - The Magic 70's Glide!

This is a classic 70's style single fin with only a couple of subtle modifications to improve it's performance.

The planshape, rocker and vee are all true to original late 70's single fins which, in my book, were the pinnacle of single fins just before we went to multi fins.

I have made a few changes to the thickness foil and rail to improve sensitivity and ease of handling...it's basically what a single fin would be if we had continued to keep making them with the beautiful, smooth magic glide that a single fin is all about.

My good mate, Dave Sofield, brought his one on the Odyssey this year and was tearing it up on it. I was actually really surprised by how well it went and how well he surfed it.

The single fin... still a valid design after all these years!

Jim, i have to tell ya, that purple/aqua 7'6'' you shaped for me is fecken flying man! It's honestly the fastest board i have ever ridden. Really stoked! Do you freight boards overseas? i will have to get a quiver of them, just in case you depart the mortal coil without notice for awhile. Of course you will be back, but maybe not as a shaper.
