I believe that buying a new board should be a no risk affair. That customers can safely purchase a board and know that they are going to be happy with it.
When I build someone a board, the most important thing for me is that it's going to be a board they love. A board that inspires them to surf better and puts a smile on their face every time they surf it. If their board is not doing this for them, then I'm not happy. I like customers to know that there's no risk when they buy a board from me, that they're always going to get a board that they love. So I'm making it official. From now on, all my custom boards come with a performance guarantee. If you feel that the board is not performing as good as you expected, I'll replace it for you or refund your money. Reasonable conditions apply of course.
